The Certificate in Pre-Engineering is designed to enable students from the Caribbean and beyond, from broader educational backgrounds, to access Engineering programmes at UWI St. Augustine
Students pursue 30 credits of courses that develop the requisite foundations in Mathematics and Physics, and introduce them to Graphics, Workshop Practice, Innovation, technology and Entrepreneurship, and Social Science and the Humanities
The programme extends over a period of three (3) semesters of full-time study.

The Programme will be most useful to aspiring Engineering students at the local, regional and international levels.

The General Regulations of the University and Faculty of Engineering Regulations for Certificates shall apply.
Applicants for admission to this course of study will be required to satisfy the minimum standards for entry to an Undergraduate programme as set out by the University Regulations governing matriculation as well as the special requirements of the Faculty.
