Programme Overview
The BSc Major in Entrepreneurship is a comprehensive programme that equips you with the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to thrive in the world of business innovation and start-ups. Combining courses in business management, marketing, finance, and innovation, this programme provides you with a solid foundation in entrepreneurship. The programme also emphasises critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills to empower you to navigate the challenges of entrepreneurship. Through hands-on projects and case studies, you will gain practical experience in identifying market opportunities, developing business plans, marketing plans, and all other aspects of starting and managing your own businesses.

Programme Breakdown
The major in Entrepreneurship is composed of 15 compulsory Year 1 credits and 30 Year 2 and 3 credits comprised of 24 core course credits and 6 elective credits.
Students choosing this major should not enroll for the existing minor in Entrepreneurship.
Students enrolled in this major can pursue a single major, a double major or combine it with one or two minors.

Entry Requirements
To enter into this programme, you must possess one of the following:
- UWI Certificate in Agriculture
- UWI Certificate in Human Ecology
- UWI Certificate in Environmental Geography

Passes in ANY two (2) 2-unit CAPE courses or two GCE A-level subjects and a minimum of five (5) subjects at CSEC General Proficiency (Grade I-III) or GCE O-level, or their equivalents, which must include English Language and Mathematics
- An approved Associate Degree with a minimum GPA of 2.5
