FFA Research Day 2026

The Faculty of Food and Agriculture invites the campus and wider community to save the date for Research Day 2026, taking place at the Sir Frank Stockdale Building, The University of the West Indies – St. Augustine, on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

This year’s theme, “Sustainable Landscapes, Livelihoods, and Food Systems for a Changing Planet,” highlights innovative research addressing today’s most pressing environmental and food security challenges.

Research Day celebrates the creativity and impact of our undergraduate and graduate students, along with faculty researchers. The event will feature an opening ceremony, the launch of the 4th Faculty Research Digest, oral and poster presentations, and interactive exhibits.

Why attend?

Research Day aims to:

  • Provide opportunities to present work and receive valuable feedback

  • Showcase the depth and diversity of research across the Faculty

  • Foster collaboration and attract support for future research initiatives

  • Highlight the regional and global relevance of UWI research

Beyond presentations, the day offers a great opportunity to learn about projects across disciplines, connect with peers, and spark new collaborations.
