Green Innovators Challenge 2026
The Faculty of Food and Agriculture at The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus, through the Departments of Food Production and Agricultural Economics & Extension, invites local secondary schools across Trinidad and Tobago to participate in the Green Innovators Challenge 2026.
This year’s theme, “Youth Leading Sustainable Solutions for Trinidad and Tobago,” encourages students to develop creative, practical ideas that address sustainability, agriculture, and environmental challenges within their communities.
How to Participate
Teams are asked to capture the theme through innovative projects such as:

Models
-
Board games
-
Flipbooks
-
Interactive displays
-
or other creative formats
Schools may register multiple teams, but each team may submit one entry.
Eligibility

Teams of 4–5 students (Forms 3 and above)

Each team must have a supervising teacher
-
Teams must represent a local secondary school
Important Dates
