THE UWI FOREIGN LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT

Starting from academic year 2022/23, undergraduate students at The UWI are required to demonstrate proficiency in a language other than English before graduating. Students can fulfil this by completing a three-credit foreign language course.

In some cases, students can be exempted if they have a qualifying foreign language at the CSEC or CAPE levels. Consult your academic department for information specific to your programme.
