Ray Ganessingh is the Librarian at the School of Education Library. He brings over 25 years of experience working in Campus Libraries in St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago. His ongoing professional development includes delivering presentations at library conferences and publishing scholarly articles. Ray holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Studies (MLIS) from Aberystwyth University in Wales, United Kingdom. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Library Association of Trinidad and Tobago (LATT), the Association of Caribbean University, Research and Institutional Libraries (ACURIL), and the American Library Association (ALA).
Ray was awarded an excellence award by the Library Association of Trinidad Tobago (LATT) for contributing to the field of Library and Information Services in Trinidad and Tobago. In addition to his library duties, Ray is involved in teaching information literacy within the M.Ed. programme, specifically in course EDRS 6203. He also provides guidance to students on the preparation and submission of their theses, ensuring adherence to the APA 7th edition style as required by the School of Education.
