With a wide range of Courses offered from our four (4) departments, you can choose the area best suited to your academic or personal interests. Whether you are at the start of your academic life, partway through a degree, a retiree or gainfully employed with some time to spare, we believe that courses offered through The Summer Programme can broaden your experience and enhance your Resume. These courses allow you to increase your transferable skills, discover new academic areas and develop your capacity for critical thinking.

Our ‘Summer’ School is offered over a period of six weeks from May to July. Applicants may take up to (3) Three courses (each course carries three credits).

Who Can Register                     

The following categories of applicants are eligible for admission to Summer School:

  • Registered UWI students of the St. Augustine Campus, The University of the West Indies.
  • UWI Students from other UWI campuses.
  • Non-UWI applicants that need qualifying courses for entry to UWI, Teaching Service or the public and private sectors.
  • Non-UWI Students or Persons who require qualifying courses for various Public (Services) Government Agencies.
  • Non-UWI applicants or Persons who are desirous of advancing their knowledge within their current field or who are desirous of advancement or upward mobility in their organisations.

1st installment is due (Last working day of May)
