Open to all entrepreneurs, Build & Pitch training offers UWI alumni and final-year students the added opportunity to compete for TTD $15,000 in start-up capital.
Over five dynamic modules, you’ll gain practical strategies to take your idea from concept to execution: from shaping a winning business model, to mastering your market, to delivering a pitch that gets results.
You’ll be guided by Mr. Julian Henry, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Strategist and Director of the Office of Institutional Advancement and Internationalisation, along with expert industry voices, including:
Dareem Jeffery — preparing and delivering a compelling pitch
Richard Aching — turning ideas into innovation and protecting your IP
Keron Rose — positioning, competitor analysis, and e-commerce growth
Frank Walkins — building financial strategies for sustainable success
Programme Highlights:

Participants will also receive an official UWI Certificate of Participation. Those who are selected to pitch will receive an official UWI Certificate of Competence.
