Mr. Imran Hosein is currently a lecturer at the Department of Management Studies, The University of the West Indies (UWI). Prior to joining UWI, Mr. Hosein served in the following positions - an Auditor (Ernst & Young), Treasury Analyst at Republic Bank and a lecturer with over fifteen years experience on the ACCA and Heriot-Watt University MBA programmes offered by SBCS.

During his lecturing he has guided a number of students to become prizewinners in the ACCA programme and served as a mentor on the Greenwich Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education programme. His academic portfolio includes Corporate Reporting, Performance Management, Audit and Assurance, Financial Risk Management, Governance Risk and Ethics as well as Business Analysis.

Imran currently lectures in the following courses at UWI : Cost and Management Accounting as well as Financial Accounting.
