Dr Robert Stewart holds a PhD in Economic Development Policy from the Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies (SALISES) at the University of the West Indies. He is a multidisciplinary researcher whose work bridges financial systems, regulatory policy, and sustainable development. He has published in peer-reviewed outlets focused on these topics, contributing to the literature on regulatory frameworks, credit allocation, and economic growth. His more recent research has increasingly concentrated on sustainable finance, examining public and private financial policies that can mobilize capital toward low-carbon economic development, ESG emergence and impact, and valorization of natural assets.
