Highlights from our 2025 Secondary Schools Economic Debate
Our 2025 Youth Debate Knock-off was held on April 10th. It was a riveting clash of ideas that saw 4 quick-witted secondary schools compete. Namely, Arima North Secondary School, Holy Faith Convent Couva, Manzanilla Secondary School and Point Fortin East Secondary School. Ultimately, it would be Point Fortin East Secondary School that would rise to the occassion and became our champion debaters

Highlights from our 2025 COTE Youth Armchair Discussion
The 2025 COTE Youth Armchair Discussion was held on March 13th at the Centre of Language Learning Auditorium.This event featured an engaging conversation between our very own university's economics students as well as passionate secondary school students. Dr. Benjamin Ramkissoon delightfully moderated this event that saw an interesting dynamic between secondary and teritary students of Trinidad and Tobago sharing their views on education, culture and current events that affect our economy today.
