Research Interest

The current focus in the group is to:

  • design novel heterocyclics using multi-component methodology for the treatment of diseases such as Cancer, Alzheimer. 
  • synthesise and characterise nanomaterials via the organometallic procedure and its functionalisation.
  • design metal coordination directed supramolecules and its application such as catalyst and chemical sensor.
  • design highly chromophoric transition metal coordination and organometallic compounds incorporating polypyridyl and hydrazones for dye-sensitized solar cells.
  • design Schiff base metal complexes and its application in catalytic organic transformations as well as biological activity such as antifungal and antibacterial.
