Major in Industrial Chemistry
Welcome to the Department of Chemistry Undergraduate Programmes.
The aim of the UWI Department of Chemistry programmes is to provide the highest quality of education at the undergraduate level to students from the region, with an emphasis on the provision of knowledge and the development of appropriate subject-based skills. The programmes have been developed with respect to benchmarking learning outcomes, level of knowledge and understanding, student skills, and methods of assessment.

Note the following;
A Major in Industrial Chemistry can only be pursued in conjunction with the Major in Chemistry. Those reading the Major in Industrial Chemistry are required to do a Research Project which is an Industrial Internship for approximately 12 weeks.
