Electronic Faculty Overrides System

If you try to sign up for a course and you don’t have the needed prerequisites or if the class is already full, you will get an error message. Only the Dean of the Faculty or their chosen representative(s) can approve exceptions. This is called an override.

Faculty Overrides Now Online

ALL STUDENTS ARE ASKED TO CHECK THE STATUS OF THEIR OVERRIDE APPLICATION ONLINE in the MySecure Area of the Student Portal.

The Electronic Faculty Override function allows the faculty to give discretionary overrides of course restrictions such as pre-requisites for specific courses, level, campus, major or programme for a student.

Submission of Faculty Overrides BEGINS 8:30 am on:	August 21, 2023	January 08, 2024	May 13, 2024
Submission of Overrides ENDS 4:00pm on:	September 12, 2023	January 30, 2024	June 5, 2024
Deadline for processing of overrides in Banner by Faculty by 4:00 pm on:	September 15, 2023	February 02, 2024	June 8, 2024
