After years of separation caused by global disruptions and campus-specific challenges, the UWI Games return, bringing all five UWI campuses together in a powerful celebration of Caribbean unity.  Students, alumni, and staff come together once more, driven by a renewed passion for sport and campus pride, and the spirit of competition. Rooted in a rich tradition that dates back to the 1960s, the Games have been revived with fresh energy and renewed ambition. The UWI Games will be held in Trinidad and Tobago at the UWI St. Augustine campus from May 22nd – 30th 2026.

Athletes are ready to compete, campuses are ready to celebrate, and the stage is set for excellence.

With the inclusion of our newest campus, Five Islands in Antigua, the 2026 UWI Games marks an exciting new chapter in our history, making it the biggest and most unifying UWI Games yet.

The region is reunited.    The flame is reignited.    And we are READY!
