NOTE TO APPLICANTS:
An application form must be completed
in order to be considered for Hall Residence.
1. A pre-cautionary deposit of $840.00TTD
for Joyce Gibson Inniss Hall and $500.00TTD for any other
hall must be paid to reserve a room.
2. This may be paid in the form of a
cheque or money order and mailed with your application
to the Director, Students Advisory Services, The University
of the West Indies, Trinidad W.I.; or paid in cash at
the Cashier, located at the UWI Administration Building,
St. Augustine Campus.
3. Cheque/Money Orders must be made
payable to
THE UNIVERSITY OF THE WEST INDIES.
PLEASE DO NOT MAIL CASH!!! Cash payments
must be made in person.
4. If payment is made via cheque or
money order, a receipt will be forwarded to the Office
of Student Services by the Cashier. Receipts received
from cash payments must be submitted to the Office of
Student Services, attached to the application form.
5. One (1) passport size photograph
is required with the application.
6. The pre-cautionary fee is refunded
if the applicant does not acquire a place on Hall.
7. If the applicant is assigned a room
the pre-cautionary fee will be refunded when departing
the Hall. Requests must be made in writing to your Hall
Supervisor.
8. The pre-cautionary fee will
be used to defray any expenses due to damage of
Hall property or other fines.
