Petra Pierre-Robertson is the Indexer/Documentalist at the CERIS (Caribbean Educational Research Information Service) Unit, and the Managing Editor of the ‘Caribbean Curriculum’ Journal at the School of Education (SoE). She has over 30 years of experience in Librarianship. She holds a BA in English, an MLS in Library Science, an MA in Literatures in English and a Postgraduate Certificate in University Teaching and Learning (PGCUTL) from The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine and Mona Campuses.
Additionally, Pierre-Robertson also lectures courses in Information Literacy to graduate students at the SoE. She pioneered the creation and delivery of the course, Information Literacy (EDLS 6404). In addition to information literacy, she has also taught undergraduate courses in literature and communication skills at the academic level.
Her research interests cut across three fields: Literature, Librarianship and Gender and Development Studies (Intimate Partner Violence). As such, her publications include five novels as well as book chapters and scholarly articles spanning Literature, Librarianship and Gender Studies.
