While the continuous upgrade and expansion of the Libraries’ technological capacity over the past decade has created a robust and stable online platform, I hasten to remind you that there is a lot to be gained by visiting in person and spending time in the physical library buildings themselves. Apart from the ability to interact with our helpful and knowledgeable library staff face-to-face, you can benefit from the serendipity to be found in browsing our print and multimedia and special collections, as well as find enjoyment in spaces provided for quiet study, collaborative learning, or even working on a group project.
The staff of the Libraries strives to ensure that the services we design and deploy are in strategic alignment with the evolving higher education and research landscape. Our team of Liaison Librarians, specialists in various disciplines, are your key library contacts. We are available to assist you in person at each campus library, by phone, email and online via our Ask-A-Librarian service. In addition, our Libraries pride themselves on responsiveness to the needs of users, and always welcome feedback and suggestions. Please feel free to send us your ideas or questions by contacting your Librarian or e-mailing me directly at frank.soodeen@sta.uwi.edu
I do hope you will see the Campus Libraries as not only a virtual and physical space for teaching, learning and research, but also as a partner in achieving your academic goals.
We look forward serving your information needs.
Regards,
Frank Soodeen, Jr.
