The Financial Advisory Services Department together with the Careers, Co-curricular & Community Engagement Department of the Division of Student Services & Development invites you to contribute to our UWIFEEDS Food Drive.

The UWIFEEDS project was launched in October 2023 in commemoration of the United Nations World Food Day.   This special day is premised on promoting awareness of worldwide hunger and action for the sustainable future of food, people, and the planet. Recognizing the food insecurity challenges faced by students here on campus the FAS and C3 departments teamed up to positively impact the lives of our students through a call to the campus community to join us in becoming #FoodHeroes by donating non-perishable and personal care items to eligible students.

We are happy to report, that over 35 students befitted from the generosity shown by our #FoodHeroes, through their donations.   THANK YOU!

We also recognize that food insecurity is an ongoing challenge and ultimately affects the academic performance, mental health, and social lives of our students.  We are therefore thrilled to announce the continuation of our food drive reopening for ongoing financial contributions by previous and new Food heroes across the academic year.

Join us in making a difference in the lives of our students!  Let the #FoodHero journey continues!
