School of Dentistry Year 1 Instrument Kit Awards
The School of Dentistry is pleased to announce the availability of three (3) awards toward the School of Dentistry Instruments Kit, as follows:ued
- Two (2) awards valued at TT$15,000 each toward the purchase of instruments from OmniDent Limited.
- One award valued at TT$7,500 toward the purchase of instruments from TGC Dental & Medical Supplies Limited
Terms and Conditions:
- These awards will be available to students on the basis of financial need.
- Applicants must be currently registered full-time students of The University of the West Indies, St Augustine Campus
- Applicants must provide a written rationale for applying, in the designated area of the online application form.
- Applicants will be contacted for an interview with the Manager/Representative of the Financial Advisory Services, Division of Student Services and Development, UWI
- Applicants must attach a scanned copy of:
- National ID and Student ID
- Parent/Guardian/Student’s mortgage payment or most recent rent payment receipt
- Parent/Guardian/Student’s payslip or job letter/ proof of retrenchment
- Letter stating the nature of business for self-employed persons
- Medical documentation (in cases of illness)
- Any other relevant document/evidence that supports your rationale for applying

Process for Applying:
STEP 1: Click on the following link to complete the Application for the School of Dentistry Year 1 Instrument Kit Awards Form. Please be sure to include a detailed rationale for your application
STEP 2: Upload the relevant supporting documents, as listed in the eligibility criteria above, into the designated area on the online application form
Disbursement of Funds:
Students will receive notification of their successful application via an e-mail from the Financial Advisory Service Department.
Please note that all requests will be subject to standard UWI financial aid processes and each request will be taken on a case-by-case basis, in relation to the resources available.
