After completing her undergraduate degree at The University of the West Indies (UWI) with a BSc. (Hons) in Chemical and Process Engineering, Thérèse was employed by The UWI as a Research Assistant and commenced her MPhil (Chemical Engineering) in investigating techniques for optimizing data and image analysis using MATLAB. Upon completion of her MPhil, she was employed by the National Energy Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago where she conducted feasibility studies for potential renewable and downstream petrochemical industry projects in Trinidad and Tobago and assisted in implementing project management methodologies in line with ISO21500. In 2016, Thérèse rejoined The UWI and subsequently went on to successfully obstain her PhD. in Chemical Engineering. She is employed as a Lecturer with the UWI Department of Chemical Engineering and also holds a MSc. in Advanced Process Integration and Design from the University of Manchester, UK.
