COURSE DESCRIPTION: The blended course covers techniques for improvements and increased production of meat, milk and hides from sheep, goats, dairy and beef cattle, including water buffalo and neo-tropical deer. The course also exposes the students to the design of sustainable ruminant production systems for the tropics, from feeding to marketing. This course will be assessed using Individual Critiques, Group Research Projects and Individual Research Portfolios.
