COURSE DESCRIPTION: The course covers areas such as agricultural produce and food quality, food quality assurance, total quality management, agriculture and food quality management systems, fertilizer use and sustainable pesticide management, genetically modified biosafety and quality standard systems, formulation, implementation, evaluation of agricultural and food public policies from domestic and international trade perspectives. The socio-economic and environmental change and its influence on public policies’ viability are examined. The course is examined by assignments, laboratory practical and end of semester examination.Assessment:
