COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course entails identification of the elements of food safety systems, some safety risk in agriculture, food production and processing optimizing systems, general risk analysis, management and communication in food systems, monitoring and review, microbiological and chemical risk assessments, water quality standards and food waste management and sustainable and fertilizer management. The course is comprised of various assignments and two in-course assessments .
