Course description

This introductory course is designed to teach students about the general principles of soil science. It examines the physical, chemical and biological properties of soils, soil formation, use and conservation. It will also focus on the variability and distribution of soils within the Caribbean. This course will be delivered via lectures and films, supported by tutorials and practicals, and examined by an in-course test, laboratory practical report and a final examination.
