Ms. Fareena Alladin is an Instructor in the Sociology Unit. She teaches introductory statistics, research methods and sociology of health and illness at the undergraduate level. She studied Sociology at The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus, and is currently a PhD candidate in Sociology at The UWI-STA. Her research interests focus on food consumption patterns and food preferences, food security, statistics education, environmental awareness and disaster preparedness, and fertility studies. She currently coordinates outreach activities within the Sociology Unit.
