Conference on the Economy 2022: Climate Change and Disaster Management: Towards Sustainable Development for Small Island Developing States.

WELCOME

The Conference on the Economy (COTE) is an annual landmark event of the Department of Economics at which findings from quality research by academic staff, students and other collaborators are presented to inform stakeholders on economic and social policy issues. The theme of the COTE this year is Climate Change and Disaster Management: Towards Sustainable Development for Small Island Developing States.

This year’s conference is scheduled for 3rd – 4th November 2022, from 1:00pm – 5:00pm.

Conference presentations will be organised along the following sub-themes:

Economics of Natural Disasters – disaster management, risk management, policy implementation
Economics of Climate Change, Adaptation and Mitigation
