Dr. Vijayanandh Rajamanickam is the Head of Department and a Lecturer in Computer Science in the Department of Computing and Information Technology at The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus. His teaching and research span Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Applications, Computer Vision & Image/Video Analytics, Multimedia Forensics & Fake Media Detection. He has taught undergraduate courses including Fundamentals of Information Technology Concepts, Operating Systems and Platform Technologies II. His scholarly work includes peer-reviewed publications in venues such as The Review of Socionetwork Strategies, Journal of Plant Protection Research, Caribbean Journal of Science and MDPI-Antibiotics. He also contributes to academic advising and curriculum development.
