Profile

Dr. Koffka Khan is a Lecturer in Computer Science at The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine. His academic work spans cloud computing, federated learning, edge intelligence, adaptive video streaming, cybersecurity, blockchain, distributed systems, and applied machine learning. He has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses in enterprise database systems, cloud computing, database administration, networking technologies, and cloud technologies. His research includes peer-reviewed publications in venues such as IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, IEEE Transactions on Quantum Engineering, Neurocomputing, Information Sciences, Expert Systems with Applications, IEEE Access, Sensors, Entropy, and BMC Medical Informatics and Decision Making. He also contributes to institutional digital transformation and quality assurance through roles including Chair of the FST ICT Committee, Campus ICT Steering Committee Representative, and Quality Co-Evaluator.
