The University of the West Indies (The UWI) signed a historic Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Public Administration on July 08th, 2024. The signing ceremony took place at the Office of the Campus Principal, University of the West Indies, St Augustine. In attendance were Senator the Honourable Allyson West, Minister of Public Administration along with representatives from the Ministries of Public Administration and Education and The UWI. The objective of the MOU is to create a framework for the identification and assessment of the learning and development needs of the Trinidad and Tobago Public Service, as well as the development and implementation of demand-driven curricula to build the capacity of the Public Service and ensure continuous improvements in service delivery.
