Representation at the Trade and Investment Convention (TIC) 2026

For the third consecutive year, the St. Augustine Campus participated in the Trade and Investment Convention (TIC) 2026, held from 9 to 11 July, providing a valuable platform to showcase the University’s growing portfolio of commercial products, services and entrepreneurial ventures. The Campus’ exhibition attracted strong interest from visitors representing industry, government and the wider public.

Among the innovations featured were Seal-It, Biophyt 1.0, SPIRITT Premium Chocolates, and the creative services offered through HumanKind Studios. The Campus also showcased UWI Optical, the newest addition to the UWI Made portfolio. TIC provided an opportunity to introduce and test a newly developed lens cleaner, which received positive feedback from visitors and generated encouraging interest from prospective customers and collaborators.

Participation in TIC 2026 reinforced the Campus’ commitment to translating research, innovation and creativity into products and services with commercial and societal impact. The Convention also provided opportunities to strengthen industry relationships, increase brand visibility and explore new avenues for partnerships and market growth.
