UNESCO AI Readiness Assessment Methodology Workshop

On February 27th, 2026, the Campus hosted a UNESCO AI Readiness Methodology (RAM) Workshop at the Office of the Campus Principal. Led by Dr Letetia Addison, the event featured notable speakers, including Senator Dominic Alexander Smith, Minister of Public Administration and Artificial Intelligence, and Mr Eric Falt, UNESCO Regional Director for the Caribbean. The Workshop aimed to validate and refine UNESCO’s RAM through insightful presentations by our academic experts that showcased AI applications across various disciplines. Participants engaged in discussions and group work, which helped identify strengths and areas for improvement in the methodology’s application in Trinidad and Tobago.
