The Office of Alumni Affairs and Internationalisation (OIAI) launched a pitch competition aimed at strengthening connections with the Campus’s alumni. Since kicking off on September 9th, the programme attracted 45 enthusiastic participants and included pro-bono guest speakers, all led by Mr Julian Henry, Acting Director of OIAI. The Unit Trust Corporation sponsored the prize of TT$15,000 for the top business proposal.
This initiative was designed to support young alumni as they transition from academia to entrepreneurship and self-employment. The aim was to help bridge the gap between study and the workforce by providing essential training and resources.
