The Chaguanas Borough Corporation invited The University of the West Indies, St Augustine Campus (UWI STA) to participate in its Career Day on 19 February 2025 at Woodford Lodge, Chaguanas. Students from seven neighbouring schools were invited to attend the Career Day. The UWI STA was ably represented by the Faculties of Engineering, Food and Agriculture, Humanities and Education, Law, Science and Technology, Social Sciences and Sport. The Admissions Department, School for Graduate Studies and Research and SEAL-It Limited were also present with displays and demonstrations for students. The Campus also set up an entrepreneurship booth to guide students on completing business plans or starting their own businesses, which was heavily frequented by the students.
