In partnership with the International Institute for Sustainable Development, the Campus conducted research on Border Carbon Adjustments (BCA) in Trinidad and Tobago. This study is part of a global initiative to investigate the impact of BCAs on a country’s economic, social, and environmental landscape. Trinidad and Tobago is among the five countries selected to participate in this study, alongside Brazil, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Vietnam. To gain a better understanding of the impact of BCAs locally, two stakeholder dialogues were hosted, the first on January 31st, 2024 and the second on March 14th, 2024.
