Each semester the Department of History assists in the preparation of students for the CAPE and CSEC examinations by conducting a series of workshops on relevant topics at the St. Augustine campus. In 2020 and 2021 as a result of the COVID-19 shutdown, we conducted virtual seminars to support our local and regional History students.

History Fest is an annual weeklong series of outreach activities organized by the Department to engage with our local and regional communities. History Fest typically focuses on a current topic or anniversary and explores, through stimulating seminars, panel discussions, interviews, video presentations and school competitions, the history and modern implications of the subject.

In 2021, the Department hosted its inaugural webinar series for History Fest that included regional and international panelists and participants.
