Requirements For Admissions
Applicants for admission to this programme of study will be required to satisfy the minimum standards for entry to the Bachelor of Science Nursing degree in School Nursing, Education, Administration/Management or Oncology, as set forth by the University Regulations governing matriculation. This programme will be conducted over a two-year period on either a full time or part time basis except in those cases where special requirements are satisfied.Eligibility - General Requirements
All applicants MUST:
- satisfy the general University regulations governing admission into a degree programme;
- be citizens of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago;
- be a registered nurse (RN) or Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) of Trinidad and Tobago or of another Caribbean island;
- be registered with their respective Nursing Council;
Special Requirements
Candidates MUST:
- have completed a Midwifery or other post basic nursing course offered by the Ministry of Health;
- have a basic or general qualification in nursing, such as a Certificate/Diploma or Associate Degree with a minimum passing grade of B or its approved equivalent.
NOTE: Candidates with certificates/diplomas or associate degrees with a grade lower than the approved grade, upon recommendation from the registration body or equivalent authority, if approved for entry, will be required to write a Challenge Examination.

Prospective Graduate Students
Admission to the Masters Proggramme
Applicants to the Masters Programme must have successfully completed their BSc at the University of the West Indies or at a university approved by said university.
