Dr. Anne-Marie Mohammed is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Economics. Faculty of Social Sciences, The University of the West Indies, St Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago. She served as Head of Department during the periods 2015-2017 & 2021-2024 and as Deputy Dean, Undergraduate Affairs during academic year 2014/2015.
Dr. Mohammed attained her B.Sc. (First Class Honours), M.Sc. and Ph.D degrees in Economics, from The University of the West Indies, St Augustine. As part of the split-site Ph.D. programme she spent on year at New York University supervised by Professor William J. Baumoal. She also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in University Teaching and Learning graduating with Distinction.
Her current research interests are in the area of industrial economics inclusive of economics of crime, economics regulations and applied microeconomics with respect to industry.
