Featured Research

Health Accounts: Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, St Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Kitts and Nevis, Dominica

These studies utilize System of Health Accounts (SHA) 2011, an internationally accepted framework, to track the amount and flow of resources within a country’s health sector.  The SHA 2011 disaggregates health spending and provided information on the sources of financing, the management of financial resources, the beneficiaries of these resources, and the health goods and services purchased in the health sector.

One component of the SHA also involves tracking the flow of resources for specific health conditions such as Non-Communicable Diseases and HIV/AIDS.

Training and supervision of enumerators for data collection from institutions are also undertaken.
