Course Description 

In Aquaculture students will be exposed to basic knowledge in the related fields of culturing fish in both the marine and brackish-water environments. You will learn about the various techniques and the exciting field of tropical aquaculture- which is currently the fastest growing food-production system in the world. The course covers major trends in aquacultural practices, human and environmental influences on productivity and sustainability and traditional and modern strategies for managing aquaculture. Emphasis will be placed on tropical culture species.
