Today, November 7, the world observes the International Day of Medical Physics. This year, the theme is "Medical Physics for Sustainable Healthcare" and as we observe this day, we are asked by the International Organization for Medical Physics to focus on advanced technology in healthcare, qualified personnel and intellectual systems that link the two.

At the Department of Physics, St. Augustine Campus, we will celebrate Medical Physics and Technology through three events. Join us!

...Medical Physics I-Squared Interviews

...Joint Observance of the 2022 International Day of Medical Physics by the Physics Departments of the St. Augustine and Mona Campuses

...National Schools Poster Competition

We kick off our celebrations with our Medical Physics I-Squared Interviews, where over the next few weeks we will feature Graduates of the Department of Physics now working in medical physics and medical technology. We thank them for their service and invaluable contribution to the health sector!

Enjoy!
