As part of the UWI's Triple A Strategy, the Department of Physics is committed to the ongoing education and awareness of the physical sciences at, not only the tertiary level, but at primary and secondary levels.

As a result, Physics Outreach has become a big part of the Department's push to sensitize and educate our population of the importance and relevance of Physics, and science as a whole, in all facets of our daily lives.

Our programme entails visits and exhibitions to schools (mostly as part of a Faculty of Science & Technology arrnagement) , or schools request UWI visits to see our facilities and offerings.
