Institute of International Relations

The faculty, staff and students of the Institute of International Relations (IIR) are deeply saddened by the tragic passing of Honourable Lisa Morris-Julian, Minister in the Ministry of Education, Member of Parliament for D'Abadie/O'Meara, former educator, and former mayor of the Arima Borough Corporation, along with her two children. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. We are sincerely grateful for her substantial contributions to the education sector, which have significantly enriched the IIR as a postgraduate institution at the UWI. Our deepest sympathies are with all who mourn her passing.
