The UWI Institute of International Relations (IIR) is delighted to announce its second Latin American Forum for the academic year 2024-2025, titled "La cooperación médica de Cuba en el Caribe". This session will take place on Thursday, October 10th, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Lecture Room 1 at the Institute of International Relations, The UWI.

We are pleased to extend an invitation to you for this event, where H.E. Ambassador Gustavo Véliz Olivares will discuss Cuba’s medical cooperation with the Caribbean. Ambassador Véliz Olivares will be joined by Dr. Orlando Lázaro Díaz Gómez, Chief Coordinator of the Cuban Medical Brigade in Trinidad and Tobago.

Please note that all our Latin American Forum events are conducted in-person and entirely in Spanish. Interpreting services will not be available.
