ACADEMIC ADVISING

Dear Students,

A warm welcome to the 2025/2026 academic year! We are delighted to have you with us and wish you every success and fulfillment in the year ahead.

Persons who missed early academic advising or persons who received late acceptance letters can visit the Department of Management Studies at the University's St. Augustine Campus for assistance. The Department is located behind the Learning Resource Centre on the main Campus, and our office is open weekdays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

New (first time) students whose advising holds were lifted and are unsure of next steps, you can be guided by the following:

Download the advising form for your degree (see the Section below for these forms). Next, carefully read the rules governing Level I (pgs 1-3). Finally, identify the courses from the Level I table on page 4 that you wish to do this semester.

Proceed to online registration. A full-time student is expected to do 5 courses per semester; whereas, a part-time student may do between 2 - 4 courses per semester: https://sta.uwi.edu/registration/procedure.asp#STEP4

Upload documents for financial clearance and maintain financial clearance: https://sta.uwi.edu/registration/procedure.asp#STEP7

Create your timetable and start attending classes: Selecting Lecture Sessions
