Biography
Donna Devika Ramjattan is a Research Associate with the Sustainable Economic Development Unit (SEDU) for Small and Island Developing States (SIDS) of the Department of Economics of the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine campus In Trinidad. As a Research Associate with SEDU, Ms. Ramjattan is responsible for undertaking research in areas of Sustainable Development particularly Poverty and Sustainable Livelihoods, Environmental Management, Payments for Environmental Services and the role of civil society organizations including community based organizations. Ms. Ramjattan received her Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Economics and Management Studies from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus. She also went on to complete post graduate qualifications with a Masters of Science in Economics also from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus and is currently pursuing her Masters of Philosophy in Economics.
