Mr. Gregory McGuire
Biography
A graduate of the University of the West Indies, Mr. McGuire holds a BSc.in Economics and a MSc. in Petroleum Economics. He has had post graduate training at Oxford College of Petroleum Studies and the MW Kellogg Business School. He is a former Central Bank economist and has worked at National Gas Company for the last 20 years and currently hold the position of Senior Manager, Office of Strategy Management
Mr. Mc Guire was a Member of the Vision 2020 Energy Sub Committee and has published several research papers/ articles on the energy industry, technology transfer, and strategic planning. Among his recent works is collaboration with the late Trevor Boopsingh on a forthcoming book: From Oil to Gas and Beyond.
Mr. Mc Guire’s substantive position is at the National Gas Company. He continues to serve as a part time lecturer in Energy Economics and Strategic Planning at the Department of Economics, and is also a Director of the Lloyd Best Institute of the West Indies.
