The Office of the BDU is located in the Dean’s Office in the Faculty of Social Sciences, located on the north eastern side of the Alma Jordan Main Library and south of the Learning Resource Centre (LRC).

Dr. Meena Rambocas – Has delegated responsibility for overseeing the business and revenue-generating services of the faculty. Meena is primarily responsible for strategic oversight over the unit. She has seven years of academic service to the UWI. She is a lecturer in Marketing, Marketing Research, and Applied Statistics.

She specializes in marketing and published several academic papers in several internationally recognized scholarly journals including, Journal of Fashion Marketing and Management: An International Journal; International Journal of Ethics Education, International Journal of Research in Interactive Marketing, Journal of Global Marketing, IEEE Transactions on Education, International Business Review, Journal of Services Marketing, International Journal of Bank Marketing, Sustainable Development, The Caribbean Teaching Scholar, International Journal of Business and Social Sciences, and International Journal of Business and Commerce. Her main research interests include Bank Marketing, Branding, Education, and International Marketing.

Dr. Cherisse Permell-Hutton is a Marketing Professional who holds a PhD in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from the University of the West Indies St. Augustine. She also completed her BSc and MSc in Management Studies with First Class Honours and Distinction respectively.

Dr. Permell-Hutton lectures part time at The UWI in the discipline of Marketing and has built a reputation as an engaging and effective Marketing professional. Dr. Permell-Hutton is also a published author in the international top tiered Journal of Global Marketing and Latin American Advances in Consumer Research.

In the past 6 years Dr. Permell-Hutton has been the lead social media strategist at a leading Recruitment Agency where she has executed successful social media marketing campaigns. Dr. Permell-Hutton prides herself as a creative thinker and her passion for marketing has provided a great avenue for her to create out of the box digital marketing campaigns.

Mrs. Vidiya Mahabir-Ramlakhan  - Vidiya supports the unit's outreach initiatives, including customer relationship and sale service activities. Vidiya is a very structured and highly competent person. She is well-organised, process-driven, and has experience in planning, developing, and managing academic programmes.

She has 29 years of experience at the UWI and knows how to get initiatives started. She has devoted considerable attention to improving our service experience and relationships with our summer students.

Miss Dalaiah Guevara –Dalaiah assists in managing the unit's outreach activities, including coordinating seminars, workshops and conducting research. Dalaiah is currently pursuing a master's degree in management studies specialising in marketing at the University of the West Indies (St. Augustine Campus). She has a background in customer service, marketing and business management.
