The main purpose of the Competition is to motivate thinking youth from different countries with an active lifestyle to carry out a creative search for scientific, scientific-practical ideas, hypotheses, and sci-fi ideas about the distant future; identify the best gifted and active young people who are passionate and capable of scientific creativity, analysis and forecasting of the future.

Conditions for participation in the Competition:

  • The Competition is open to graduate students, young professionals, students and schoolchildren of any nationality from any country of the world, carrying out scientific research, scientific and practical (applied) activities and / or science fiction literary creativity in the subject area of the Competition.
  • Applications for participation are accepted in the form of:
    • science fiction work (story, essay, reportage): strictly individual work;
    • scientific work (article, research, scientific and practical work): individual work or work as part of a team of authors of up to three people
  • Age of participants: 16 - 30 years.
  • Each participant of the Competition, taking into account all nominations, can submit no more than one individual application or be a participant in no more than one application from the project team / team of authors.
  • Laureates of the Competition 2019 - 2022 are allowed to participate in the Competition only with new works and as part of new project teams or teams of authors.

Terms of the Competition:

  • Acceptance of works until October 31, 2023
  • Examination of works from November 1 to December 10, 2023
  • Summing up the results of the Competition, determining the finalist works and annoucing the winners from December 10 to December 15, 2023

The winners of the Competition will be invited to the World Festival of Youth and Students in March 2024 in the city of Sochi, Russia where travel expenses will be paid for.
