About the Award
Benchmarked with York University of Canada’s President’s Leadership Award, the Principal’s Award for Administrative Leadership Excellence is given to the most outstanding administrative leader at the St. Augustine Campus within the context of the 2012-2017 Strategic Plan. This Award, a Trophy, is given to an administrative leader who has displayed excellence in organizational transformation and service to the Campus. The Award is determined by the Campus Senior Management Team in accordance with defined criteria and standards.

Eligibility
The Principal’s Award for Administrative Leadership Excellence is open to Extended Management (with the exception of members of the Senior Management Team) within The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus who have been employed for a minimum of three years, of which two must be within the context of the current Strategic Plan (2012-2017). Thus, positions which are eligible for the award include:
- Deans and Deputy Deans;
- Heads of Departments;
- Directors;
- Senior Assistant Registrars/Assistant Registrars;
- Senior Accountants;
- Managers/Supervisors;
- Officers-in-Charge.
